Of plain tapering shape with slightly flared and moulded end and curved mouthpiece. The stem with applied gadrooned wire and a similar border to the open end.

The maker's mark is quite worn but there is just a trace of a letter "R" making the attribution to Phipps and Robinson more likely. Furthermore, Christie's sold a very similar example dated 1808 by the same makers on 29th May, 2009, lot 149 (sold for £5625 including and Old Sheffield Plate example).
