The neck of reeded cylindrical form and with a similar "S" scroll handle. The bulbous body flat chased with Ho Ho birds, palm trees and foliage. The plain dropped base engraved with initials W.C and T.C alongside the date 1707
The makers mark is recorded in Jackson's, page 143 as H.T crowned and with a circular device below.
This form is a known type made in the last quarter of the 17th century but seldom found with chinoiserie decoration. It is in excellent condition and might have been made for a child.
