Omar Ramsden frequently used quotations to enhance his creations although the seasonal message on this bowl has not been traced to any particular individual. The bowl does have many typical Ramsden characteristics particularly the Tudor rose, the crenellated border and the hammered surface but we have not encountered this model before. It is in excellent condition.
